The history of Terroirs Romans begins in 1908, the cellar is one of the pioneers in the wine cooperation movement which brought together Common Know-how, Values and Passions spanning several generations.
The vineyard is located on clay-limestone hillsides among pine trees and scrubland, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with quite exceptional sunshine. These soils, composed of large quantities of pebbles mixed with sandy clay, form excellent supports for quality vineyards.
Among the stepped terraces are the Cabestany terraces, very favorable to the production of AOC and Natural Sweet Wines. Much sandier and deeper, the Elne terroir favors the production of Vin de Pays.
