In an art deco style, this residence, initially the hotel, was built to the plans of the Perpignan architect Léon Baille (1862-1951) between 1928 and 1932 in order to allow tourists who had to wait for the axles of their spending the night. It included a restaurant, a cinema room and its bar, an Italian theater stage, a tennis court on the roof. Built in reinforced concrete, it is currently being restored. Formerly, it had 30 rooms, nowadays 10 apartments which can accommodate 2 to 6 people per apartment.
