REDOUTE MAILLY
At the request of the Count of Mailly, the Mailly redoubt was built from 1780 to defend the entrance to the port, like the two old redoubts of Béar and Fanal. The work is substantially semi-circular and surrounded by ditches cut into the rock. It once supported an elongated building, dynamited in 1944, today only a few sections of the walls remain.
Listed in the inventory of historical monuments in 1991.
