GOELETTE MIGUEL CALDENTEY
Named after its first owner, the schooner Miguel Caldentey was launched in 1913 in the shipyards of Palma de Mallorca, crafted by the expertise of a master shipwright. For decades, she sailed the Mediterranean, transporting grain, citrus fruits, and building materials between major merchant ports such as Barcelona, Marseille, Sète, and Port-Vendres.
A precious witness to maritime history, it is now one of the very few schooners of its type still in existence. Classified as a Historical Monument, it is also the largest sailing ship currently being restored on the French Mediterranean coast. Its elegant silhouette and authenticity make it a true symbol of maritime heritage, inviting us to rediscover the golden age of sailing.
