FOUR A CHAUX DE LA CREUETA

This oven was discovered in 2017, by two members of the Pastor association, on the Napoleonic cadastre of 1812, it bears the mention "lime kiln" in La Creueta, it is located under the retirement home under the aspect of a rounded wall one meter high by one meter long and some limestone stones. After a year of effort, all the elements that made it up were brought to light: a circular wall with a diameter of three meters, a height of four meters and sixty centimeters in thickness, the heating chamber, the bench seat and the loading mouth.
