CHAPELLE SAINTE-EUGENIE DE TRESMALS

There are mentions of Sainte-Eugénie in 951, 1067 and 1145.
A parish church until 1347, it remained a place of worship until the French Revolution, then it was disused and served as an agricultural building, in particular a “casot”. The architecture of the vault of the current building dates from the 1,50th century. The building consists of a single nave covered with a broken cradle and a semi-circular apse. The multiple floods of the Tech have covered its soil with silt XNUMX meters high, but recent archaeological excavations have recently cleared it of this alluvium.
