Vallée des Cerfs
Between megaliths, feudal ruins and exceptional viewpoints.
Leave the Tourist Information Office towards the south and turn right onto rue du Ribéral, then into the tunnel; take the Ribéral bed to Mas Mingou.
Go down and follow the river bed. At the bridge take the path on the right. Pass near the Transfesa construction site then near the kennel and continue to the end. Go down to follow the river bed.
At the concrete ford crossing, take the forest road, passing near the Las Ocas sheepfold then in the pine forest, there, observe the Sant Salvador menhir before reaching the Pla de les Vaques.
Take the DFCI-AL67 track to the crow's feet where you have to turn right and right again then the track on the left.
At the Col de la Fareilla, take the ridge path passing near the Col de la Farella dolmen (in very poor condition). Climb to Pic Querroig
At Pic Querroig, observe the ruins of the old castle and the tower, the view is exceptional. Continue the route via the ridges.
Pass near the Dolmen du Coll de Les Portes then via the Col de Cerbère, near the watchtower.
At Pic Joan, head towards Pic Galline, between the two peaks is the Coma Enestepera dolmen.
At the Pic de la Galline, continue towards Cerbère.
In the housing estate, take rue Salvador Dali, rue Aristide Maillol then left and right to rue du Mas Nadal
At the end, turn left towards rue du Bel Horizon. Cross the railway and return to the BIT.
