A simple out-and-back walk that connects the Valmy site to the village of Sorède via the recently secured Mediterranean cycle path (EV8) crossing olive groves, vineyards and maquis.

Start going down towards the Mimosas campsite to take the Massane road on the right. Keep the expressway on the right, do not go under the various bridges.
Arrive at the Auberge du Roua, turn left and after 200m take the ford crossing which crosses the Massane river and goes up towards the Sorède road.
Turn on the first street on the right which winds and leads to chemin de l'oliu. Turn right and arrive at Chemin de la Carrerasse.
Go right then take the first left. Continue on the path that intersects with Chemin de la Pave. Arrive at the level of the river, stay on the left.
Arrive on the chemin de St-André, head south, enter a housing estate, cross and take the Coscolleda road on the left for 900m.
At the stop sign, turn right, cross the bridge. You arrive at the intermunicipal information office.
Turning right down Rue du Stade, you'll arrive at the ESAT "Les Micocouliers," renowned for its handcrafted production of the famous "Perpignan whips and riding crops made from hackberry wood." The team can welcome you by appointment for a tour of the workshops.
