Hike which oscillates between sea and mountain and makes discover the beauties and the richnesses of the territory.
The "Mar i Munt" (sea and mountain) hike, with exceptional viewpoints, allows you to discover Port-Vendres and its surrounding treasures. As a bonus, one of the most beautiful beaches in the department!
Starting point: Port-Vendres Tourist Office. Head towards the jetty, go around the port following the coastal path markers
When you reach the cove of the jetty, take the path on the right that goes up towards Fort Béar. After the parade of rocks, switch to the path to the vineyard path.
Follow the path to the left.
Arrival at Bernardi beach then at Paulilles cove (if you have time, visit the Paulilles site with the museum of the former Nobel dynamite factory, Catalan boat workshop, exhibition…)
Go to the parking lot and take a small path on the left, go under the bridge and turn right. After 300 m take the Col del Mitg path which climbs up to the D86a and the village of Cosprons.
Turn right (bridge) towards Coll de Perdiguer.
Take the path of the muleteers.
Go right then descend to the left.
Keep going straight.
Go through the tunnel and continue towards the station.
After the station, turn left onto the Strategic Road towards the city center, cross the Place de la Castellane, go down the stairs to arrive in front of the Tourist Office.
