(E 12 – Sentier Littoral) Port-Vendres – Collioure

Port, forts, castle and bell tower, everything is there to enjoy a historical hike.
Take Quai Pierre Forgas then Quai Fanal. Continue straight ahead on Rue Arago which passes in front of the Notre-Dame de Bonne-Nouvelle church. Continue along the street then go up Rue de la Mirande. At a bend, go up the path on the left which leads to the scrubland then go back down on the right to go back up towards Anse de la Mauresque. Go around the blockhouses on the right and go back down to the Institut Médical la Mauresque.
Continue on the road then turn right. Follow the sidewalks for a few meters, along the D914. Go down to the right on the Oli cove.
Go up towards the houses. Take the slope, descend to the right and pass under a bridge. Turn immediately left and continue straight to pass under a porch and head towards the next cove.
Go around the cove by the path which goes up towards the pavements which follow the D114 to Collioure.
Enter Collioure and take the promenade along the coast. Bypass the royal castle and take a footbridge on the right. Continue towards the beach and the church.
