(E 12 – GR 92) Cadaqués – Rosas

The trail, initially mountainous and inland, begins at Cala Joncos/Jòncols and then follows the coastline, providing access to coves and beaches, some of which belong to the natural park. From Cadaqués to Roses

From the Cadaqués tourist office, follow the promenade to the right until you reach the entrance to the old Rocamar hotel, to the right of the latter is an unpaved track that marks the start of the GR-92 towards Rosas .
Ascend by turning to admire the view of the bay of Cadaqués and Cap de Creus.
Cross the Mas d'en Baltre (no longer restored with some dry stone buildings) following the track.
As you progress, you will be able to see the Mas de Sa Sala (one of the oldest legacies of Cadaqués) and the cliffs of Punta Prima on the left.
 At some point, you will find a barrier preventing the passage for vehicles. The GR-92 continues on your left and descends to Cala Joncos (as the inhabitants of Cadaqués say) or Jòncols (as it is commonly called). municipal term of Cadaqués.
From the cove, join the road and follow the diversion towards Cap Norfeu.
Continue the section in its most coastal and less urban part passing through Cala Pelosa, Cala Calitjàs, leaving aside the Punta de la Ferrera and ending in Cala Montjoi (where there is a holiday town and the restaurant that was a world reference in terms of gastronomy). : The Bulli)
The rest of the route follows a path along the coast between Cala Montjoi and Almadrava. There are cliffs, steep rocks, secluded coves, pine vegetation and Mediterranean scrub.
From Almadrava, follow the most urban coast possible, passing Canyelles Petites, the Roses lighthouse and finally the port which will be left on your left. From the Puerto area, follow the Roses promenade to its tourist office, the end point of the section very close to Ciudadela (important archaeological site declared a historic-artistic site).
