Chemin muletier de Cosprons

In the footsteps of muleteers.

This route follows the path that people used to take to reach the hamlet of Cosprons, particularly during the traditional Easter Festival. The path leads to the Cosprons Chapel, which houses a marine Christ statue, listed as a Historical Monument.

From the Tourist Office, climb the steps to Place de la Castellane. Beautiful view of the harbor and the marina.
Cross the square in the middle and take rue des Paquebots, continue straight ahead via the double staircase. Arriving at the top, go down the Route Stratégique to reach the SNCF station car park. Continue the Route de la Gare until you reach the entrance to Val de Pintes, a communal leisure area. Looking to the right, Fort Elmo overlooks the ridge in front of you.
On the left, go through the tunnel under the railway tracks and join the D914. Cross the lane and go around the roundabout on the left to go up towards the Pont d'Amour housing estate.
In the middle of the coast, turn right on the old stone path framed by beautiful dry stone walls, which leads to the Col du Perdiguer (120m).
Cross the road and head straight through the vineyard towards Cosprons.
