[Balade] Le Dolmen de la Cova de l'Alarb

A journey through the millennia between nature and heritage.

This family walk invites you to take a step through more than 5000 years of history between the Dolmen of the Cova de l'Alarb and the grounds of the Château de Valmy.

From the Château de Valmy car park, go down the tarmac road and turn left at the crossroads towards the "Les Mimosas" campsite.
At the ford, take the DFCI-AL track n°42 and follow the PR ARG2 directional markers.
After Mas Peyrot, you overlook the Château de Valmy. After joining the track, find on the right a path that leads into the cork oak forest towards the Dolmen of the "Cova de l'Alarb" (178m).
Retrace your steps and take the track again but this time to the right. Follow the fence for about 150m.
Locate the handles to open it and descend the "el Correc de la Coma Fosca" trail. The yellow markers are located on the trees.
Arrive at another electrified fence, keep it in your right hand for 50m. Open the fences by the handles and close them again without fail.
Go back to the left of the vineyard, pass the cellars to reach the parking lot.
