SITE CLASSE DE LA BAIE DE PAULILLES

Nestled on the Vermeille coast, in the hollow of the Béar and Oulestrell caps, between the sea and the vineyards, this former dynamite plant established by Alfred Nobel in 1870 underwent a spectacular redevelopment between 2006 and 2008 by the joint will of the Conservatoire du Littoral, owner, and the Department, manager. Now a haven of peace and nature, this 32 ha green setting promotes the history and industrial memory of the place, the discovery of the natural heritage and that of the Catalan maritime heritage through the boat restoration workshop.
