The Romanesque church of Saint-André

Built between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, it houses magnificent marble sculptures from the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries. Its preserved architecture makes it a perfect example of Catalan Romanesque art.
Passing through its doors is an incredible leap in time!
Not to be missed: the sculpted marble lintel dating from the 1th century – similar to that of Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines – considered to be one of the first Romanesque sculptures in Roussillon!

At the edge of EuroVélo 8, Saint-André is ideally located for lovers of bike rides!
To the north, the Cycloroute links Argelès-sur-Mer to Le Boulou via Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines. To the south, the Voie Verte leads to the beaches of Argelès-sur-Mer and the villages of Sorède and Laroque-des-Albères.

The Art Gallery of the town hall of Saint-André has been permanently hosting temporary exhibitions for more than 20 years (paintings, sculptures, photos, etc.) that you can discover freely.
Since February 2022, a gallery room has been reserved for a renowned artist: Mr. Mario Chichorro, and hosts his unique and colorful works!

Free admission – Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. (except public holidays).
