The village of Palau-del-Vidre, Catalan for “Glass Palace,” is aptly named! In the heart of the historic center, glassmakers, stained glass artists and glass engravers perpetuate a tradition dating back more than 8 centuries. Visit the workshops of our craftsmen to dive into the fascinating world of this know-how. You will meet talented creators who will introduce you to the different techniques of their work: Fusing, enamelling, engraving, mosaic, murrine, glass paste, sandblasting, but also the well-known cane blowing and with a torch.

Live your favorite activity in a green, calm and peaceful setting! the body of water Sant Marti offers a particularly pleasant environment for walking along its shores, with preserved vegetation that hosts a rich and diversified fauna.
A real paradise for fishermen and model makers, the lake also offers a relaxation and picnic area on the peninsula where you can fully enjoy the beauty of the place. For the more athletic, a fitness trail of about 2 km has been set up around the lake.
