Sorède, city of the first solar oven in France, even in the world!

On the Mas del Ca site, the solar oven has been reconstructed and the site opened to the public. During the visit are presented: a 12-minute film on the life and work of Padre Himalaya, the stages of the reconstruction of the solar oven, demonstrations of educational models on solar power, solar cookers, and demonstrations of fusion of metals which are also carried out on the large furnace.

Tours Tuesday to Friday in July and August. Open August 15.
