About Us

The parish church of Saint Assiscle and Sainte Victoire of Sorède is a Romanesque church, inspired by Gothic elements and whose apparatus is made up of pebbles and bricks, distinguished by a wall bell tower on the facade above the door, a square tower to the south contested in its time for its aesthetics as well as a baroque interior where you can admire a rosary altarpiece from the XNUMXth century and a Gothic vault.
The nave with transept, barely visible because it is included in the castle, is made up of three bays covered with false broken vaults. There are three small chapels interspersed in the side walls.

Church open: during mass times.
Visits possible on request by the St Assiscle and Ste Victoire association, mini. 6 persons. Contact the Sorède Tourist Office.
