Here, in our region where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean, there are moments that escape the hustle and bustle of the coast in summer.
Precious interludes where time seems to stand still, where nature, history and emotions intertwine harmoniously.
A sound immersion in a place steeped in history
It is in this unique setting, between sea and mountains, that I had the chance to experience an extraordinary sound journey, in the heart of the cloister of Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines, an emblematic place in the foothills of the Albères.
Led by Nathalie, the artist from Traver-sons, this activity is a real parenthesis of sweetness et of reconnection to oneself, lulled by soothing sounds.
When sounds tell more than words
Lying in the center of the cloister, we let ourselves be guided towards relaxation. Nathalie invited us to let go, then gave birth to an enveloping music to the crystal clear sounds.
Some instruments evoked flowing water, others vibrated in low, deep, almost telluric tones. Little by little, the music mingled with the rustling of the wind, the song of birds, the discreet passage of an insect… Like a natural dialogue between heritage and life!

On the edge of sleep, the body lets go
The body relaxes, breathing slows, and we float on the edge of sleep, feeling warm and enveloped. For those who love pure, crystal-clear sounds, the emotion is guaranteed!
My little tip for a perfect experience
When the body relaxes deeply, it tends to cool down... so you might as well be comfortable to fully enjoy the experience.
Remember to bring a floor mat, a small pillow and a warm blanket.
Thank you for this bubble of sweetness
A huge thank you to Nathalie from Cross-sons for this enchanted interlude, as well as at the cloister of Saint-Genis, a truly propitious setting to inner escape.
