d'Ortaffa. It collects and offers high-quality honey while opening its doors to visitors for a behind-the-scenes look at production.
Meeting with Michel Barcelo, beekeeper and president of this committed cooperative.
#2 – Meeting with… Domaine Claire Mayol
It is at Domaine Claire Mayol that Guillaume Montchal shares his passion, inherited from his grandfather.
The vintage, which comes from the narrow and steep terraces of the Pyrenees overlooking the Mediterranean, is vinified, bottled, labeled (and very often sold!) in Port-Vendres itself.
The Domaine's cellar also hosts temporary exhibitions and openings.
#3 – Meeting with… André Trives from the PERM’AMAP 66 association
This committed producer offers a diversified production of fruits and vegetables, but also cereals and even a tropical range (sugar cane, citrus fruits, ginger, turmeric, passion fruit).
Permaculture, supporting local producers and building a more sustainable future... these are the values that André Trives defends with his association PERM'AMAP 66 in Elne.
#4 – Meeting with… the Domaine de la Tanière
Mylène welcomes you to her estate in Bages, where you can find delicious organic olive oil pressed in Laroque-des-Albères.

#5 – Meeting with… Mas Illibéris
Rémy Lopez welcomes you to Mas Illibéris in Elne, where the famous red apricots of Roussillon ripen! Since 1982, the family farm has grown steadily, also growing figs, cherries, citrus fruits... and more recently, peaches, apples, and pears. A local and varied production, throughout the seasons.
Our little tip: Treat yourself to some self-picking: a gourmet experience close to nature!
#6 – Meeting with… Domaine Sol Payré
Didier Rodriguez welcomes you to the splendid Domaine Sol Payré, a 56-hectare vineyard cultivated organically, rich in around fifteen grape varieties.
In the heart of the vineyards, the restaurant welcomes you from April, in a warm atmosphere, with the Albères as a backdrop.
Here, the terroir reveals itself generously: wines, local flavors and wine tourism experiences to live and share.
#7 – Meeting with… L'Escargot du Tech in Palau-del-Vidre
Jérémy Henrique is one of the few organic snail farmers in France. A free-range snail farm that proudly displays the colors of Catalan traditions.
If you've never eaten Catalan-style snails or participated in a cargolade, let yourself be tempted by these traditional dishes!
#8 – Meeting with… the XADI Farm in Palau-del-Vidre
Since 2007, Xavier has been raising his pigs outdoors, under the generous sunshine of the Albères.
Its artisanal charcuterie, without additives, reflects an authentic terroir and a demand for quality.
The pigs are fed with recycled spent grain from the nearby La Canya brewery—a fine example of the circular economy.
Individuals, delicatessens and restaurateurs are delighted with these healthy and tasty products.
Find them for sale directly in the store, at fairs and markets in the region!
#9 – Meeting with… the Brasserie La Canya in Saint-André
Jérôme Faig and Johann Munoz, 20 years of friendship and a slightly crazy bet: to create an organic, artisanal and 100% local beer! From their passion were born organic top-fermented beers – white, blond, amber, brown and seasonal – but also spirits: whisky, gin, anisette… Award-winning numerous times, they open the doors to their world every Saturday at 17 p.m., during free and friendly tours!
#10 – Meeting with… Jef’s Petits Fruits
Jean-François Barrioulet – alias Jef – has been cultivating the organic aromatic plants and fruits that make up his delicious sorbets, syrups and tasty jams since 2014!
A range of gourmet products to be found at local markets and events, as well as at the end of the day in summer, on its terrace at the foot of the Albères.
And for those who live a little far away, Jeff even offers home delivery.
#11 – Meeting with… The La Guinelle vinegar factory in Cosprons
Chandra Brune is a vinegar maker in Cosprons, a hamlet nestled between the sea and the vineyards. This is where she found her calling. With passion, she transforms carefully selected wines into exceptional vinegars. Thanks to the sun, time, and aging in oak barrels, subtle yet powerful aromas are born.
Tours and tastings are available upon reservation with the Pyrénées Méditerranée Tourist Office.
#12 – Meeting with… Domaine Bisconte in Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines
Meet Manuel Vincent, an independent winemaker, at the heart of his family estate. Between Roussillon grape varieties and cultural events (concerts, exhibitions, etc.), enjoy an authentic experience!
