Guided hike to discover the trees and shrubs of our Albères, followed by a guided tour of Notre-Dame du Château, nestled in the heights of Sorède, in an oasis of freshness and greenery.

After crossing the Tassio River, we will begin the ascent to the hermitage of Notre-Dame du Château. Throughout the walk, we will learn to identify some of the trees, shrubs, and plants emblematic of the Albères region. Upon arrival at the hermitage, our efforts will be rewarded with a magnificent view over the Roussillon Plain. We will enjoy a guided tour and learn about the history of the chapel, before returning to the village.
Level: good walker, distance 7 km, elevation gain: 400 m.
Departure at 8am in front of the Tourist Office, duration: 4 hours.
Bring good walking shoes and water.
