Immerse yourself in the history of Cerbère and meet the extraordinary women who, in 1906, dared to mobilize to defend their rights! The town pays tribute to the orange transporters, heroines of an all-female strike that became a symbol of courage and solidarity.

To celebrate this anniversary, a rich cultural, historical and festive program awaits you throughout the municipality.

Photographic and artistic exhibitions, testimonials, screenings, and conferences will allow you to discover the daily lives of these women workers and better understand their struggle. The unveiling of a new statue in their honor will mark this tribute.

Art will also be featured with La Grande Lessive, a participatory and citizen-led installation inviting everyone to contribute to a collective work around the theme "Photos and Graphies".

Lovers of Catalan traditions will appreciate the sardanas accompanied by the cobla Tres Vents, while food lovers can participate in a culinary workshop around oranges.

To extend this immersion, discover the theatrical performance "The Wild Song of Women", performed by the amateur theatre troupe Les Trag iners de l'Albera, which echoes the struggles of the women transporters of Cerbère with those of the ovalists of Lyon.

A game booklet, "In search of the Ferry," will also invite you to explore this heritage in a fun way.
