Provide water, hat or cap, walking shoes, windbreaker or waterproof clothing outside the summer months. Respect nature, bring back your waste. Do not stray from the marked trails.

Checkout 

From the Banyuls-sur-Mer Tourist Office, go past the town hall then turn left, avenue du Général de Gaulle. Pass under the railway bridge and turn immediately left to join the Puig del Mas by the avenue Pierre de Marca until the place Abel Pages on your left. (Note at the starting point, the monument dedicated to Walter Benjamin and Lisza Fittko)
From the car park, continue towards the dirt track which leads to a path through the vineyards on the outskirts of Mas Guillaume. Continue on a paved road and turn left to Col del Bast.
At the level of the pass, take the path which rises on the right and follow the route for 500 metres. The path follows the ridges of the massif. Pass at the foot of an electric pylon and take the stony path which crosses several scree towards the Col de Rumpissar at an altitude of 538 meters. 1h/ 1h30 more if you extend the loop)
Branching off to the left, you will take the route of the Saute Montagne hike which will take you to the Tour de Querroig at an altitude of 672 meters and which offers you an exceptional 360° panorama.
To descend, retrace your steps from the Col de Rumpissar.
Once in the La colline des Oliviers housing estate, take avenue Pierre de Marca to the Tourist Office.
