Walk above Collioure attacking the forts. Viewpoints, mill, old stones and olive trees are waiting for you.

Description

Leave from Saint-Vincent beach towards the royal castle, follow the sea along the beach and the typical “faubourg” district. Go up towards the Collioure Museum of Modern Art towards the Cortina mill.
Turn left before climbing the stairs surrounded by olive trees that lead to the Cortina mill. Arrival at the Glorieta, magnificent view of the bay of Collioure. Continue straight towards Fort Saint-Elme.
At the post on the Pams hill, go back and forth to the Moulin (no markings in the Pams gardens), go up the path that leads to Fort St-Elme which stands opposite. Continue on this path which passes under the fort, until the first crossroads, continue straight. At the second crossroads turn left, go up the asphalt path that runs alongside the forts. Take this old road, which passes to the left of Fort Dugommier.
Arrived at the Col d'en Raixat (200m), take the dirt path on the left. Magnificent view of the other side of the Collioure forts. Follow this path which goes around the Puig de las Dainas (333m). Magnificent panorama of Port-Vendres, Banyuls-sur-mer in the distance, Fort Béar and the Madeloc tower. At the first crossroads, take the path which rises on your right, then go back down towards the Col de Mollo (231m) by the very steep path in the middle of the vegetation at the next change of direction (difficult passage).
Arrived at the Col de Mollo (231m), take the first road on the right which goes back down towards Collioure. Follow this road which seems to plunge towards the sea through the vineyards, until arriving in the heart of the town.
Take the tarmac road towards the stadium which rises, go along the stadium then turn right. Arrive at the Fort Carré path. Follow the path to the fort. Continue on the path on the other side which leads to the Fort Rond.
Go back down to the road, take on your right to reach the old road which goes down to the beach. Follow this one to reach the beach of Ouille.
Arrived at the Ouille beach, take the stairs which rise up in the cliff on the right (difficult passage). Arrive on the coastal path which runs along the sea. Advance towards Collioure while seeing the Miradou fort. Take the path on the right to return to the road.
Take the road along the stadium to go back down towards the town of Collioure. Turn left at the first roundabout and go along Fort Miradou to reach the old streets of Collioure.
Go down towards the Saint-Vincent church and its bell tower through the small streets. After reaching the Saint-Vincent beach, return towards the royal castle.

This circuit can be done on a trail in 1h45 (8km/h on average). Points 7, 8 and 9 are located on a plot of the coastal conservatory. This space is not managed or marked out by the CC-ACVI.
