Les deux fontaines
Discovery hike along the fountains.
From the Tourist Office/Maison de la Randonnée, follow the yellow markings to the Church.
Turn left into rue de l'Eglise, a dead end, then the path which enters the forest. On the right the Moulin de la Pave appears, then a few meters higher the Fontaine des Oiseaux. At the junction, at the basin, turn right and follow the watering canal to arrive at a crossroads of paths.
At this point, strategic intersection of paths, take the path on the right which goes down towards the river. Cross the ford then go up to the small asphalt road.
Turn left towards “Les Deux Fontaines”. Take the track which climbs up to the 4th hairpin and follow the yellow markings until you reach an intersection of tracks.
Go right on the track and continue straight on until Font Dels Simiots.
Retrace your steps and leave the track to take the path on the right marked with a sign “Les Deux Fontaines”.
At the intersection of two paths, head opposite towards Fontaine de la Vernosa. Continue until you reach a track (picnic table just above) which you have to go down on the left, towards the plain, for almost 2 kilometers. Then take the small path on the right and continue going down. Find the intersection of tracks passed on the way out.
Follow the track by the same path taken on the way out to the tarmac road.
Continue the road towards the village, leaving all streets on the left until you reach the recently restored Chapel of Sant Sebastia.
Turn right onto Chemin de la Florentine which takes you to the old village. Turn right onto Rue du Château to reach the Church.
Go back down to the left towards the Tourist Office.
