Walk to a strategic location of the Battle of Boulou. Very beautiful viewpoint and numerous fountains.
At the entrance to Mas Péricot, either go back and forth to the belvedere, or ignore the track which goes towards Belvédère and take the dirt track, on the left, which goes up towards the font dels Treze vents. At this location, picnic table and fountain.
At the junction, two possibilities: either continue towards Font Del Sabater and follow the DFCI track, or climb on the path, steep at the beginning, and narrow, located to the left of the transformer. This trail offers an exceptional panorama.
At the top of this steep slope, continue opposite on the DFCI track towards Casot du soldier. (On the northern side of Casot du Soldier, a path leads towards small Balmes with original shapes, like “l'Huitre”. Beautiful panorama over the Roussillon plain). To return, return to this point and go down using the DFCI track to the starting point.
