Description

La Lioze, also called Sec Valenti by some divers, is a diving and snorkeling site. This magnificent site allows dives between 3 and 20 meters deep in a set of rocky rises, halfway between the tip of Cap Béar and the beach of Anse de Paulilles. Sheltered from the Tramontane, even very strong, it is on the other hand very exposed in the event of sea wind. coralligenous bottoms. The part near the small rocky islet is a set of small rocky plateaus interspersed with faults at shallow depths of about 12 to 20 meters. This set promotes the practice of beginner divers, including baptisms while the visit of coralligenous bottoms will be more suitable for diving for PE3m level 10 divers or more. Visibility is generally good and the current very weak. Perfect conditions to enjoy the place. These shallows are populated by species of rock fish such as yellow black-headed gobies, blennies, pomfrets, serrans writing or crenilabras of all kinds. The rocky ridges are dominated by very large schools of saps and black-headed seabreams but sometimes also small schools of Mediterranean barracudas. The faults in the collarigen beds are ideal for observing numerous lobsters and rock crawfish. More and more often, good-sized moray eels and several groupers, still relatively fearful, are also observed, especially in shallow waters. The size of this site requires several different dives to appreciate its richness and diversity. Accessible to different levels and different activities, find your happiness easily on this site!
