Boucle des Albères – Les métiers d'hier et d'aujourd'hui

Departure: Town Hall, Place de la République 1. From the town hall, cross the parking lot towards Le Boulou. When you reach the D11 road, cross to the left to join the cycle path (which runs alongside the Departmental road on its right). 2. Cross the housing estate, staying on the cycle path. At the intersection, turn right and follow the road. Arrive at the cycle path and turn right. Continue towards Le Boulou. 3. When the cycle path reaches the roundabout, leave it and follow the direction of Laroque-des-Albères. To do this, go under the expressway and continue straight on over 2 roundabouts. At the latter, take the 3rd exit to join Sorède on a small secondary road. 4. At the end of Rue de la Gabarre, turn slightly to the left, then immediately turn right onto Rue des Fabriques. 5. At the next roundabout, turn right and continue straight on. Pass in front of the church. At Place République, turn left onto Rue St Jacques. Continue straight on Rue du Moulin Cassanyes. Turn right onto Rue du Vallespir, then continue straight ahead on Route du Moulin de Cassanyes to reach Laroque-des-Albères. 6. At the end of this road, come to a one-way street and turn right towards the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit, then follow the main road through the village. 7. Continue towards Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines. At the roundabout, turn right towards Chapelle de la Tanya and go down to the left on this road. Cross the EV8, but continue straight ahead. At the stop sign, carefully cross the D2 and continue straight ahead. At the end, turn right and go under the expressway to join the cycle path. Follow it to the right. 8. At the roundabout, the cycle path goes off to the left. 2 m further on, at the intersection, leave it and continue straight ahead to reach Palau. 9. At the end of the road, at Christ, turn right, then left to reach the town hall.
