De Lavail à Valmy par la Tour de la Massane

You are following a hiking trail along which regular household waste collection points are available to you. Out of respect for this exceptional space used each month by several tens of thousands of hikers and walkers, we invite you to deposit all your waste (glass, paper, leftover food, etc.) and waste at these collection points. which you could unfortunately discover during your walk. Description

Leave the Hameau de Lavail (caution, regulated access during the summer period, inquire at the town hall 04 68 89 22 06 or the Tourist Office 04 48 98 00 04), chemin de Saint André (paved road then from from the car park, dirt road) and follow the path along the "Massane" river.

In front of a fenced field, go to the left, directional sign indicating the Massane tower.
At this point, turn right. Continue to follow the signs to arrive at the tower. You will go up through the forest.
When you arrive at the tower, enjoy the grandiose panorama. To go down, take the direction of Valmy, you will descend on a path through the forest.

Arrive on the DFCI AL41 ter track. Turn left then take another left at the next junction.
At this point go left for a few meters and at the fork, take the path on the right.
Continue to descend into the forest to reach Chemin de la Massane. and head towards the dolmens (Collets de Cotliure and Cova de l’Alarb).

Cut the track and continue to descend through the forest to see the other dolmen.
At the DFCI AL42 track, turn left and leave it to follow the parallel path. Join the DFCI AL42 track. You will arrive at Camping des Mimosas and turn right to reach the Valmy car park.
