Departure from the Banyuls-sur-Mer Tourist Office.

Go up the Avenue du Général de Gaulle in the direction of Puig del Mas then cross the river "La Baillaury" by the bridge. Continue on Avenue Pierre de Marca to Place Abel Pages on the left.
From the car park, continue towards the dirt track which leads to a path through the vineyards on the outskirts of Mas Guillaume. Continue on a paved road and turn left to Col del Bast.
At the level of the pass, take the path which rises on the right and follow the route for 500 metres. The path follows the ridges of the massif. Pass at the foot of an electric pylon and take the stony path which crosses several scree towards the Col de Rumpissar at an altitude of 538 metres.
Turn left and take the path which rises towards the Tour de Querroig at an altitude of 672 meters which offers you an exceptional 360° panorama.
At Col de Rumpissa, head towards Pla del Ras,
the Col des Empedrats,
the Teixo Pass

At the Col d'en Torn, turn right towards the Col de la Martine
At Col la Martine, descend on the track that crosses the Reg de la Roubine then at the change of track. Go straight, go through a ford then another. There, the road becomes paved.
Pass in front of the Mas Xatard.
Arrival at the Aristide Maillol Museum. More info, click here. Cross the property and set off on the paved road which crosses "la Ballaury".
Go to the right of the museum car park on a narrow road. Continue on Col de Banyuls road then General de Gaulle avenue. At the end, turn right towards the Tourist Office.
