(E12 – GR 92) Llançà -Port de la Selva

A walk between coves and rocks, beautiful viewpoints and the most emblematic lighthouse of S'Arenella.

Point of view

Walk to do all year round. For the months of May to September, it is recommended to do the route early in the morning or at the end of the afternoon in order to avoid the hours of great heat. Shaded areas and water points are non-existent. This is an urban route that in several places passes near residential areas. Along the route, there are several places to dispose of waste.

From the Port de Llança Tourist Office, follow Castellar street towards La Gola beach, then climb the stairs that indicate the start of the GR-92 towards Port de la Selva.
Follow the coast, leaving the sea on the left and passing the beaches of Carboneras, Embarril, Morer and Titarolites.
Reach La Farella beach, one of the furthest from Llança, which is known to be home to the Tramontana, a very characteristic wind in our region. An information panel awaits you, explaining the fishing arts that were practiced there in the past.
Continue along the coast until you reach the beaches of Farella del Mig and Les Tonyines. Another fishing arts information board is on the second beach.
From Les Tonyines, climb the stairs that lead to the residential area of ​​Cau del Llop and descend to the beach of the same name.
Cross the beach of Cau del Llop and go up in the direction of Port de la Selva towards the residential area passed previously.
Take the new Cami de Ronda customs path to the entrance to Port de la Selva, then follow the path that runs along the coast. It offers an exceptional view overlooking Cap de Bol.
Follow the path to the lighthouse of S'Arenella, A magnificent view of the entire coast of Mar d'Amunt, the bay of Port de la Selva, Llança and the beaches appears.
Continue to La Vall beach where the Port de Vall campsite is located. It offers a view of the Verdera mountain where the majestic monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes predominates.
Cross the path to the bay of Port de la Selva to see typical coves and beaches of Cap de Creus.
Arrive at the maritime passage, join the Tourist Office of Port de la Selva, to end this hike.
