Discovering the sandy coast from the city of Fauvism.
In front of the church, take the cobbled street on the left and continue on rue Miradou towards Fort Miradou. Bypass it then turn right and take the sidewalks along the street towards the stadium car park.
Turn right. Go back and cross the stadium car park to continue on the path that goes up.
Continue on the path to a private property gate to continue on the right and go down on the path to a concrete platform. Then go down on the right and take the stairs cut into the schist cliff to arrive at Ouille beach.
Cross the beach then go up the stairs and take the path that runs alongside the campsite. Continue on the path while crossing two beaches.
Go up the path laid out on the heights of the cliffs and take a small road on your right. Continue the path to arrive at Racou beach.
Cross Racou beach towards the port of Argelès.
Take a path on the left that bypasses the Racou wetland. Continue while bypassing the technical area of ​​the port. Continue on the road then take the stairs to the right to walk along the quays of the port. Leave the port by crossing the bridge to continue on the promenade that runs along the beach of Argelès.
Arriving in front of the pine forest, turn left to the Tourist Office which is 200m at the end of the street opposite. This is the right place to discover new activities, do not hesitate to push open the door of the Tourist Office…

Practical information

Please note: The section of the path that runs along the cliff between Ouille beach and the Porteils Criques campsite is open from 8 a.m. to 21:30 p.m. in order to respect the peace and quiet of the campsite's customers. Outside of these hours, please bypass the route by the track that leads to the Ouille beach from the entrance to the said campsite under the SNCF bridge. You enjoy nature, you love it, take care of it... You are taking a hiking trail along which regular household waste collection points are made available to you. Out of respect for this exceptional space used each month by tens of thousands of hikers and walkers, we invite you to deposit all your waste (glass, paper, food leftovers, etc.) and any that you might unfortunately discover during your walk at these collection points. Thanks to these simple but essential actions, let's keep this site clean, as nature has graciously offered it to us.
