Description

Departure from Elne Tourist Office. After a detour in the historic center, go down the rue du couvent to the right of the Office.
Turn right on avenue du General de Gaulle. Continue straight after the roundabout.
Turn left after the railway onto the D40 where you will stay until Ortaffa. The civil bell tower in the shape of the Eiffel Tower will surely catch your attention.
Continue on the D40, avenue du Carignan.
Then avenue du Vallespir. At the roundabout after the level crossing, head towards Brouilla. Cross the village.
Take the direction of Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines. Domaine Bisconte is indicated on this road on the left before arriving at Saint Genis.
Arrive at Saint Genis and turn left rue Maréchal Joffre then turn right rue Clemenceau.
Take advantage of a stop to admire the famous lintel. Also visit the Romanesque cloister and the Saint-Michel church.
Turn left onto avenue des Albères and go straight ahead, passing two roundabouts.
Continue on the small road through fields.
Turn right to go towards Laroque-des-Albères.
Stop recommended at the chapel of Tanya.
Then go back to the center of Laroque, very typical, where many restaurants await you.
To leave Laroque, go back over the bridge and turn left onto Avenue du Vallespir. Stay on this road until Villelongue-dels-Monts to visit the Santa Maria del Vilar priory nestled in the massif. 
Take the Cami del Vilar (Chemin du Vilar) on the left and follow the yellow markings to the priory.
Retrace your steps to return to Laroque-des-Albères to tour its producers. On Avenue du Vallespir, stop off at the “Le Temps Retrouvé” estate.
In Laroque, turn right onto Rue de Roca Vella (very steep). 
Turn right and go straight ahead on avenue des Mas Catalans to discover “La Maison de l’Amande” 300m further on. Then turn around towards the center of Laroque. Go up to the tower, passing in front of the church.
Departure towards Sorède passing by the olive oil producer.
Turn left on Avenue des Baléares. “Le Moulin du Llevant” will be on your right. To reach Sorède, go down Avenue des Baléares to an intersection.
Turn right, cross the ford, continue straight on to Sorède on this small road with a magnificent view of the Albères.
Turn right onto rue de la Gabarre then left to head towards the Tourist Office.
Behind the Tourist Office, visit the hackberry wood whip factory (a tradition dating back to the 13th century). You can also take a detour through the heart of the village.
Set off again on the Chemin de la Gabarre. 
Turn right onto Eurovélo 8.
Turn left then take the next right.
On the road to Palau, go up to the right then take the first left.
Go left then right Chemin de Saint André then rue Joan Cayrol.
Turn left then at the roundabout, take rue des Albères until the crossroads.
Go straight on rue du Moulin then towards the church and the “Maison de l’art roman”.
At the end of rue de la Liberté, turn right then left rue de Taxo. Continue on this road which joins the Pirenexus.
Go left and at the roundabout, take the D11 on the right to reach the village of Palau-del-vidre (Glass Palace) to take a tour of the glass workshops.
To do this, turn right rue Joliot Curie towards the center of the village.
The Sant Marti de Palau lake is perfect for a picnic break. Go left, rue de la Tramontane then Chemin de Perpignan.
To leave for Argelès, return to the Pirenexux.
At the roundabout, go straight on the tarmac road which passes in front of an aeromodelling club then which runs along the railway line (small slope) and comes out in Argelès at a roundabout.
Go opposite avenue de Mongat (Pharmacie de l'Union) then turn right and go behind the bank, always following the Pirenexus signs, rue des Colibris then rue des Merles. Cross the river “La Massane” and go to the left while following it.
Turn left onto Rue du 14 Juillet until you reach the roundabout where you will take Rue des Trabucayres opposite.
At the next roundabout, turn right, go past the tennis courts and the multipurpose hall.
At the stadium roundabout turn left onto Route de la Mer then at the service station continue straight on Avenue du Général de Gaulle. At the arrival roundabout, turn left, Avenue des Platanes, and before the Tourist Office, turn right, Avenue des Pins. Go straight ahead to join the green promenade which you will take on the left.
After crossing the pine wood, go left (next path after the Monolith of the Spanish Exiles) between two buildings and continue on Avenue de la Méditerranée. Go right on the dirt road which connects the cycle path and which runs along the Route du Littoral, passing in front of the campsites.
At the Tech bridge, turn left. Make a short detour to the pretty beach of the Mas Larrieu nature reserve (//!\\ naturist and textile beach).
Return to the level of the bridge and head towards Elne on the Chemin de Sainte Eugénie where you will see the pretty Sainte Eugénie de Tresmals chapel.
Turn right on the small road then left on the bridge, enter Elne via the Cami de la Mar.
At the roundabout, go to Cours de l'Europe then opposite, rue d'Oran. Turn right onto rue du Salita. Turn left onto Avenue Général de Gaulle and turn right onto Rue du Four à Chaux towards the Elne Tourist Office.
