Route details
Description
No less than three dives are possible in this sector to take full advantage of its diversity. The site is accessible to beginners and experienced divers down to 26 meters deep. This site, located about fifty meters from the end of Cap Peyrefite, is partly in the reserve. Access is by boat but the southern part of Cap Peyrefite is accessible from the shore by crossing the municipal campsite to the sea. However, carrying equipment is complicated, as is launching. The area is quite exposed to winds from all sectors. A small pitfall named Ramère is located near the coast to the south of the cape and allows you to practice snorkeling. Varied landscapes are present during this exploration. We first find large scree of canyons with at the bottom, from 17 meters deep, coralligenous. Thereafter, observe rock walls of 12 to 20 meters in the form of small drop-offs. Beyond, the coralligenous zone offers a large number of crevices where lobsters, moray eels, wrasse and some groupers live. The uncrowded site offers an abundance of fixed life, and you can even come across fine specimens of eagle rays when it's the season. The dive ends around 25-26 meters on the sand. This exploration allows you to discover this place steeped in history, thanks to a few clues that recall a presence linked to the Gallo-Roman era, and full of life. with the many species that find refuge there. Adventure awaits!
