Description

Equipped with a mask, flippers and snorkel, everyone can have a good time discovering the underwater environment, whether beginner or experienced. This preserved and shallow environment is the ideal place to observe seahorses and stingrays which like to rest on the sand. From the first meter, thousands of atherines welcome the visitor by wrapping him in a silver coat. The novice as well as experienced diver enjoys evolving between the canyons which wind delicately towards the open sea. A little further from the edge, around 6 meters deep, the Posidonia beds offer an ideal habitat for thousands of juvenile fish which wait here between the green leaves charged with oxygen, to be big and strong enough to leave to face the open sea and its predators. Coming back to the edge, around a few stone pyramids, vestiges of the Second World War, octopuses, cave shrimps, crabs, and conger eels have found refuge in these constructions cracked by time and storms .The clear and sparkling atmosphere characterizes this dive which it is recommended to do early in the morning to fully enjoy the calm of the sea and the ideal light. The entry into the water from the beach can sometimes be rough because it is steep. The exit in the rollers can also be scabrous. The easiest way is therefore to approach a diving center which will offer more comfort when arriving by boat and will thus remain far from swimmers.
