Description
Leaving the Laroque-des-Albères Tourist Office car park, turn left and start following the signs. You reach the village of Saint Genis-des-Fontaines which you cross. Here you can enjoy a stop and visit the cloister, the church and the lintel.
Leaving Saint Genis, join the cycle route. Follow it towards Saint André.
When leaving the cycle route, pass under the expressway and take the dirt road opposite. Continue to follow the signs to reach the village of Saint André. Be careful, after the college, you will cross a ford crossing which may be closed in the event of floods. In the heart of Saint André, stop and visit the Maison de l'art roman as well as its church.
Resume your route to Sorède. This is currently reserved for pedestrians. To avoid accidents, please dismount at this location. In this village, you can visit the parish church of Saint-Assiscle and Sainte-Victoire.
End your walk by joining Laroque-des-Albères where you will visit the Chapel of Tanya.
